It looks as though President Obama today has taken his first step towards martial law in America. I just pulled this piece off the wires which indicates the issuance of his new executive order. This order sets up the framework for the use of federal troops and the combination of state and federal agencies under the Defense Department. This is startling news for many reasons. Why now? Why now?

The President today signed an Executive Order establishing a Council of Governors to strengthen further the partnership between the Federal Government and State Governments to protect our Nation against all types of hazards. When appointed, the Council will be reviewing such matters as involving the National Guard of the various States; homeland defence; civil support; synchronization and integration of State and Federal military activities in the United States; and other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defence, and civil support activities.
The bipartisan Council will be composed of Ten State Governors who will be selected by the President to serve two year terms. In selecting the Governors to the Council, the White House will solicit input from Governors and Governors’ associations. Once chosen, the Council will have no more than five members from the same party and represent the Nation as a whole.
Federal members of the Council include the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counter terrorism, the Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement, the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defence and Americas’ Security Affairs, the U.S. Northern Command Commander, the Commandant of the Coast Guard, and the Chief of the National Guard Bureau. The Secretary of Defense will designate an Executive Director for the Council.
The Council of Governors will provide an invaluable Senior Administration forum for exchanging views with State and local officials on strengthening our National resilience and the homeland defense and civil support challenges facing our Nation today and in the future.
The formation of the Council of Governors was required by the Fiscal Year 2008 National Defense Authorization Act which stated, “The President shall establish a bipartisan Council of Governors to advise the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Homeland Security, and the White House Homeland Security Council on matters related to the National Guard and civil support missions.” (NDAA FY2008, Sec 1822)

ESTABLISHMENT OF THE COUNCIL OF GOVERNORS
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America,including section 1822 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008 (Public Law 110-181), and in order to strengthen further the partnership between the Federal Government and State governments to protect our Nation and its people and property,it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1. Council of Governors.
(a) There is established a Council of Governors (Council).The Council shall consist of 10 State Governors appointed by the President (Members), of whom no more than five shall be of the same political party. The term of service for each Member appointed to serve on the Council shall be 2 years, but a Member may be reappointed for additional terms.
(b) The President shall designate two Members, who shall not be members of the same political party, to serve as Co-Chairs of the Council.
Sec. 2. Functions. The Council shall meet at the call of the Secretary of Defense or the Co-Chairs of the Council to exchange views, information, or advice with the Secretary of Defense; the Secretary of Homeland Security; the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counter terrorism; the Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement; the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Homeland Defense and Americas' Security Affairs; the Commander,United States Northern Command; the Chief, National Guard Bureau; the Commandant of the Coast Guard; and other appropriate officials of the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense, and appropriate officials of other executive departments or agencies as may be designated by the Secretary of Defense or the Secretary of Homeland Security.Such views, information, or advice shall concern:
(a) matters involving the National Guard of the various States;
(b) homeland defense;
(c) civil support;

(e) other matters of mutual interest pertaining to National Guard, homeland defense, and civil support activities.
Sec. 3. Administration.
(a) The Secretary of Defense shall designate an Executive Director to coordinate the work of the Council.
(b) Members shall serve without compensation for their work on the Council. However, Members shall be allowed travel expenses, including per diem in lieu of subsistence, as authorized by law.
(c) Upon the joint request of the Co-Chairs of the Council, the Secretary of Defense shall, to the extent permitted by law and subject to the availability appropriations, provide the Council with administrative support,assignment or detail of personnel, and information as may be necessary for the performance of the Council's functions.
(d) The Council may establish subcommittees of the Council. These subcommittees shall consist exclusively of Members of the Council and any designated employees of a Member with authority to act on the Member's behalf, as appropriate to aid the Council in carrying out its functions under this order.
(e) The Council may establish a charter that is consistent with the terms of this order to refine further its purpose,scope, and objectives and to allocate duties, as appropriate,among members.
Sec. 4. Definitions. As used in this order:
(a) the term "State" has the meaning provided in paragraph (15) of section 2 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002(6 U.S.C. 101(15)); and
(b) the term "Governor" has the meaning provided in paragraph (5) of section 102 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5122(5)).
(a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:
(1) the authority granted by law to a department, agency, or the head thereof; or
(2) functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary,administrative, or legislative proposals.
(b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

There is little out of order with this EO, it is a mere continuance of previous similar EO's that basically spell out that they can use military force in times of emergencies.
However, the fact that they have such orders is disturbing in many regards.
On the flipside, if they don't have such orders -- what happens when there is a real national emergency? Do we expect them to sit around twiddling their thumbs?
Yes, I believe there is a quiet effort afoot which is aimed at controlling society on a much more granular level. I do not be;lieve the entire government is behind it and I am most certain there are elements of the government who directly oppose such efforts. It is political party neutral though.
The Republicans introduced the Patriot Act, then the Democrats expanded its powers. So what are we to make of that? The Patriot Act is the single-most dangerous piece of legislation ever enacted. Oh my, but are we ever safer because of it! Not! I personally do not mind a little more security at the airport, but did it take an act of congress to achieve that aim? No, it does not. Then why do we have it? Everyone should be able to answer that question with little or nothought behind it. The answer is clearly apparent. It is all about control.
Why would a country born of a revolution have laws against sedition and seditious acts and even conspiracy to commit sedition? Apparently what is good for the goose is not good for the gander. It is a living hypocrisy. Rome is burning and Nero is playing his fiddle.
These are very dark times my fellow Americans. Much darker than any of you realize. This is a time to prepare and be patient. Watch, listen, and say nothing. Stock your needs for the coming times. My first words after hearing that Obama was elected was " Is it too soon to impeach him?". I still believe he is bad for our country. He gave money to the rich business's and he could have divived it up to give to the many of us to pay our bills and maybe just maybe a new bed or that nice doll or truck for our kids.
He thought only of himself and what was best for him and his political stature and what he will gain in the end. I love my Country I respect my president because he is me president. I don't have to like him or agree with him. I do have to Pray for him that he will do GOD'S will.

Americans had better understand that this Executive Order along with all of those previously signed ,and with Presidential Decision Directive 51 and others will be used to destroy the Constitution and Bill of Rights and to render each American effectively into nothing more than a member of a work gang subject to control of the Regional Military Governor who is under the Secretary of Defense who is under the President.
Posse Comitatus then is dead, Habeas Corpus is dead, Bill of Rights is dead, and only the whims and subjective decisions of the Regional Military Governor, as directed by the President via the Secretary of Defense and executed by Northcom troopers who now include U.S. , Canadian, Mexican, and other Foreign troops as well as Mercenaries and the States’ National Guards, Militias, and Police agencies will be the Iron Fist Rule of the Land.

Here’s my view: I'd like to see the media and other radio personalities pick up from Sheriff Joe in Phoenix! The white house has posted 2 documents that supposedly show that obozo is an American citizen. Both have been proven to be forgeries. I'm serious about this. I was never a "birther" but the more that comes out, the more I don't believe this guy was even born here. We the people deserve the TRUTH! I want our elected representatives to do a FULL investigation of this man who to this point can NOT produce even 1 valid document to prove his citizenship. That is astonishing! DEMAND PROOF!!! Here are some FACTS for you to ponder: 1)The hosp listed on his fake birth certificate had a different name in 1961 2)His race was listed as "African-American." Whoever heard of that in 1961? 3)He has a social security # that originally belonged to a guy who was born in Connecticut and died in Hawaii. 4)His grandmother volunteered at the ss ofc in Hawaii at the time of his birth. (Hummm...) 5)The records of flights coming into Hawaii are mysteriously "missing" from the microfilm roll for the dates of Aug 1 - Aug 7, 1961. 6)In order to attend school in Indonesia you must be a citizen. They do not have "dual citizenship." His mother would have had to RENOUNCE whatever citizenship he did have. 7)His grandmother plainly stated that he was BORN IN KENYA. 8)His Father's place of birth was listed on his fake birth certificate as "Kenya." Kenya was not even a country in 1961. It was a British territory. That's why his father held British citizenship. (Which also makes him NOT ELIGIBLE!) There's more but do your own research. Type in "Kenya" on a google search and see for yourself. It was founded in Dec 1963! This is a very serious matter. He thinks America owes the world and he's determined to collect the debt! DEMAND a full investigation now. Before it's to late!
Look at the FEMA fusion centers here to protect us in case our country is over run. The barbwire is facing inward! The have broken the country up into 10 sectors and each of these 72 fusion centers is responsible for thier area. each fusion center has major Hwy and rail access with shiney new cars with ventilation and padded seats and yes shakels. The law is written to overtake all factorys, food supply,oil, and yes human labor force.
