Dear MoveOn member,
Breaking news: Mitt Romney just picked tea party hero Paul Ryan as
his running
mate. And Romney may have just committed political suicide.
Paul Ryan is the author of the most extreme right-wing budget ever
proposed in
Congress. He wants to dismantle Medicare, privatize Social
Security, and cut
taxes for millionaires while raising taxes on the middle class.1
Simply put, the policies Paul Ryan stands for are politically
toxic.
But here's the thing: Paul Ryan isn't just a extremist—he's young,
smart, and
charming. The media constantly describe him as looking like
"the boy next door."
He's the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing.
The next ten days are crucial to make sure the American people
understand the
truth about Paul Ryan. We're launching an emergency "Paul
Ryan is Wrong For
America" campaign, but we need to raise $200,000 this weekend
to make it happen.
Chip in $5 to help America learn the truth about Paul Ryan.
Here's the plan:
* We'll hold protests everywhere Romney and
Ryan go this week, and we've got
an ambitious plan to hand out over 1 million pink slips to voters
to show how
many jobs the Romney-Ryan ticket would cost us.
* We're going to share stories from Paul
Ryan's actual constituents who know
best what he's all about—including one woman who was unemployed,
facing large
medical bills, and literally camped out for a week in front of
Paul Ryan's
office because he refused to meet with her. She's still waiting
for her meeting.
* We're putting together a wave of
super-sharable videos, photos, and
Facebook posts that we can use to tell people about Paul Ryan via
social media.
For starters there's an unbelievable clip of Glenn Beck calling
Paul Ryan his
"soul mate."2
I'm so excited to put this plan into action. If we can pull it
off, this could
hurt the Romney campaign the way the Sarah Palin debacle hurt John
McCain. But
we can't do it unless we can raise $200,000 this weekend.

Ryan
The next ten days are crucial for the future of America. Every day
this week,
Mitt Romney will be making appearances with Paul Ryan at diners,
town squares,
factories—all to create the false impression that he and Paul Ryan
understand
the concerns of people like you and me.
The Republicans are trying to do exactly what they did with George
W.
Bush—convince people that he's someone you'd like to have a beer
with, and then
ram though a far-right agenda that screws the middle class.
We can't count on the media to tell the truth. It's up to us to
set the record
straight.

Ryan
Thanks for all you do.

tell the truth you lying pigdogs. your "Ryan constituant" isnt telling you the whole truth either. All you leftist nutjobs want to do is destroy this country with your everything for everyone equally policies. your messiah has ruined this country and the economy, and taking our rights at an incredible rate. TELL THE TRUTH...
I think every Democrat should buy a Republican and their family dinner and a movie tonight! Then go to the Voting polls tomorrow and let the world know how it feels. Everyone deserves food and entertainment without working for it. I'm hungry, I feel "entitled."
Republicans & Democrats alike are liars and thieves. We need to get rid of all parties and start electing people based on their honesty, integrity, background & belief in the Constitution & Bill of Rights. Romeny & Ryan are dogs with the same fleas as Obama. Get Smart & vote for a real Patriot! Ron Paul 2012~
Why is it legal for George Soros to politic in the USA? He's not a citizen. Follow the money... One way or another everything that Obama does makes money for Soros.
Most, not all, liberals are dumber than a bag of hammers. They can't name their Senators or their Representatives, or who is the Speaker of the House or the Senate Majority leader. The don't know the planks in either party platform. They don't have a clue about how government or economics work. They vote Democrat because their parents did. They believe the smooth talk and the promise of handouts that sound good to them. It is those things, as well as numerous other high school-like reasons, they vote Democrat. It is such a shame that the destiny of the country can be shaped by such an ill-informed electorate.
Voting for Ron Paul, although he is a great man, will inevitably get Obama another term. Wake up and back the candidate that actually has a chance at defeating the man trying to destroy out nation!
Voting for Ron Paul, who I agree is the only TRUE solution to our problems, will inevitable get Obama a second term. Wake up and back the candidate that has the only real chance of defeating the man that's destroying our country as we speak and then in later elections we can go for a Ron Paul. This election is too important to take any risk of allowing our current anti American president to reside in control of our wonderful nation.
visit the South you bastard, bring your body guards
Typical Libs. They're more frustrated than a nigger trying to read.
Read my telepromter!! If Obummer hates Paul Ryan that is another reason to vote for Romney and Ryan!! I pray soon the right people can impeach this liar and get rid of his people (Reid, Pelosi, ect) so we can get America back on her feet and dig her out of the hole the socialist has dug for us.
ROMNEY/RYAN 2012!!!!!!
To: Anonymous Said, you help the party you trash when you write nasty bigoted words and thoughts. Please for the sake of all who want the Democratic party defeated because of their policies, write something positive about our country and party...I know your stumped, right? Here's an example: Vote Romney and Paul for the chance of our lifetime!
I wish all of the Independent voters would understand this fact.
Actually, I always thought the whole "divide and conquer" idea was at play here to begin with. I mean if I was a liberal strategist I couldn't think of a better way to win an election than to help fund a third party that pulls almost all of it's voting populace from the opponents ranks. Hmmmm...
