Obama – Drone Attacks – 10:34 A.M. Monday September 27th 2010

Sheikh Fateh al-masria was blown into a million pieces on Saturday while most in the western world slept. He took over as lead dog for al-Qaeda in Afghanistan back in May when his predecessor met the same high-tech fate. His remains were scattered over a square mile of Pakistan’s northern border. Once again, Dave’s C.I.A. operatives operating in Pakistan tracked George Preston’s bugged prayer rugs and took out another al-Qaeda leader with a drone attack piloted by specialists at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada. The level of sophistication was mind boggling considering the miles and terrain involved. General Petraeus knew by keeping the Taliban and al-Qaeda on the move it made for more targets for the now famous drones. This remote style of warfare strategically kept the enemy off balance while ground troops kept them on the move making for more targets.

Dave could have never imagined this type of warfare back in the old days when Operation Alice in Wonderland was enacted by President Reagan. The transition was seamless lending to the development of even bigger drones and much larger payloads with nuclear capability. But that hopefully was for another day and another war.

The prayer rug bugging with GPS sensors was the hottest thing going for the Agency. Much of the success in Iraq and Afghanistan was due to this top-secret idea. Dave thought, it was a shame that the genius that developed this method of tracking terrorists was himself now a victim of the explosive ways of al Quaeda and was now laying peacefully in Arlington.

Later in the afternoon Dave was told that the President of Iran met with Louis Farrakhan, head of the Black Muslims and leaders of the New Black Panther Party in New York City last week during the big U.N. gathering. He had expected a move like this from Ahmadinejad. It was his style to make it appear that he was developing foreign assets while usually only giving an appearance, more bravado than substance. He was assured that the entire conversation was recorded and was being analyzed for code words and directives from the Iranian leader. It was the suspicion of the F.B.I. that if Iran was attacked these two U.S. based radical movements would create a second front in the homeland by terrorizing power plants and gas supplies. Nevertheless it was a minor annoyance to the Agency but they definitely needed to keep track of any further developments. Dave knew that these people needed to be investigated, charged and sent to jail soon or this whole thing could get out of hand as the 605th day of the Obama Presidency weakened the country more.
