Breaking - California Glove Law "INSANE"
BREAKING - CALIFORNIA - As of January 1, 2014, California law prohibits culinary workers from touching ready-to-eat foods with their bare hands and requires staff to wear gloves in order to practice safe serving. Chefs across the state shook their bare fists at the fresh legislation, grappling with the implications in fine dining and sushi. Then word spread that the law extended beyond the kitchen, to lime wedges and garnish, looping irritated bartenders into the glove game. - N.P.Contompasis
