The Debt Crisis and What Really Matters
By Nicholas Contompasis
What the Obama Administration's Liberal economists, and I use the term economists loosely in this regard, fail to realize is that the ability of the United States to defend effectively the U.S. dollar and U.S. interests around the world is what maintains our AAA credit rating, not the magnitude of our debt and ability to service it.
Without the security of U.S. dominant influence around the world, the USD and the credit worthiness of the United States would be shit.
That dominant influence is and always has been our military strength. Any attempt at weakening that strength in relation to other military powers around the world would seriously undermine our financial ability to exist.
