The British Broadcasting Network, the world largest news network that reaches more people around the world than any other network, has just announced their displeasure with NBC's coverage of the London Olympics.
It appears that NBC because of commercial interests delayed the opening by three hours and edited many parts of the show. Calls, emails and tweets came in from around the world proclaiming anger with the poor coverage.
It was especially aggravating according to many around the world that NBC edited out a tribute to victims of a Muslim terrorist attack on English soil. It was compared to omitting a 9/11 tribute in America.
We in America know very well of NBC's editing power when they edited the 911 tape of the Zimmerman/Martin shooting.
Articles are sprouting up all over the internet about this poor coverage by a once mighty network which seems to have lost it's way.

I have no problem with what NBC did. Unlike the BBC, NBC is not a government agency. It delayed the ceremony for prime times so that MORE Americans could watch it. Prime time are the prime hours Americans watch TV. NBC funded by capitalism and not a tax forced upon people reacted better to the people than a government-run BBC did because if a capitalist is not sensitive to the people's needs, he does not eat.
