Some Food Stamp Facts That Will Open Your Eyes

According to Gallup last year, Americans spend on average $604 a month on food. Per The Kaiser Foundation, the average U.S. government food stamp recipient receives $133 a month. Based on this information food stamps make up 22% of the average food bill for food stamp recipients. This percentage could be higher based on the lower income of legitimate food stamp recipients.
The state of California has 12% of its population on food stamps which is the leader in the U.S. for recipients. Texas has 8% of its population at a not so near second, and from there it drops to 6% in New York and Florida. It should be noted that the majority of states have 1% or less of their population on food stamps.
There are 47,700,000 people in the U.S. that receive food stamp benefits out of a U.S. population of 307,000,000, that’s 15.5% of our population.
It’s clear that the vast majority of food stamp recipients are in the states of California, Texas, New York and Florida, all illegal immigrant destinations.
I have a simple idea that I think could solve many of our immigration problems. If we stop feeding the millions of illegal immigrants that have invaded our country, maybe they’ll just leave. – N.P.Contompasis
