IRS Targets Patriots

Today the Internal Revenue Service admitted that over the last several years it delayed applications of organizations that applied for non-profit status that had the names of Tea Party, Patriot and other conservative sounding names.
What hasn’t been mentioned by news outlets about this breach of constitutionally protected rights is that by delaying approval of these non-profits it stopped them from being able to raise funds during election years, thus impeding their ability to support conservative candidates. Not to mention the tax advantage to donors as a deductible item on their annual tax returns.
This obstruction, if found to be ordered from the White House, would be considered an impeachable offense. It would show that the President of the United States had used a branch of the Federal Government to obstruct the fund raising efforts of a legitimate political movement in America. – N.P.Contompasis
